Modern Warfare Returns!

Call of Duty MW3 is one of my favorite video games. This game is rated M for mature. I like to play this game at my friend’s house because I have a Wii (this game is better on Xbox.) MW3 stand for Modern Warfare 3 because there were different games made before it. This game is the 3rd game where you finally capture a guy named Makarov; he is the bad guy that always escapes in the other games before.

I really like this game because it has a lot of adventure. For example, there are different levels in the game, and you are battling other guys to get Makarov. You battle in boats, jeeps, helicopters, planes, and even submarines.

Modern Warfare 3 is one of my favorite video games. So, buy it now! Buy it now!!!! I give this game 5 paws!!!!!!!

Now You See Me ... Now You Don't!

Ever have a feeling you are being followed?

Being followed by someone you don’t even know is the worse, especially if you can’t see them. I really like this book Now You See Me… because it’s full of ghost trouble and adventure.

Lena and Abby are like treasure hunters. They hunt for old technology, with a “no eBay” rule. They finally find what they have been looking for, an old fashion camera called the Impulse. Lena takes a photo of Abby. They print the photo, and a boy with a troubled, dark, face appears. This is scary for Lena and Abby. In every photo, the boy- who they find out is Robbie- gets a little clearer. Soon Lena finds out that Robbie die in an accident on March 13, 1990, with the water tower! Will Lena and Abby ever find a way to make Robbie stop?

I really like this book Now You See Me because it has great characters. For example, Abby is very entertaining and funny whereas Lena is adventurous. I couldn't put this book down!

If you're looking for a great read, then you should try Now You See Me! I give it five paws!

Funny Life!

Have you ever wondered what’s it’s like to laugh so hard milk shoots out your nose? Well, it happened to me when I read The Diary of a Wimpy kid. This book is about Greg, his family, and his friends as he stumbles through life.

I absolutely LOVED this book. It was of the best books I have ever read.

One reason I liked it was because it is really funny. Rodrick, Greg’s brother, pulls pranks on him all the time. Too, it keeps you interested and keeps you reading. The author, Jeff Kinney, has written many parts where something weird happens. There are at least nine people that Greg talks about in the book and the author is always introducing a new character. If you’re looking for a funny read, this is the book for you.

I’d give this book five paws.

The Chamber of Secrets!

Harry and his friends, Ron and Hermione, go on a hunt to find the Chamber of Secrets. This is one of the most dangerous things to do at Hogwarts. That is why this book is so interesting.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is about a boy whose parents died and so he had to live with his mean aunt, uncle, and overweight, spoiled rotten cousin. One day, all of these invitations to go to a new school came through the door. After Uncle Vernon tried to keep the invitations away from Harry, they moved to a shack in the middle of nowhere. But Hagrid, a person who worked at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, came and personally gave him the invitation. This is how Harry Potter discovered he was a wizard. But sometimes Wizarding School can be a dangerous place.

It is my favorite book because its characters are so intense. This book’s characters are Malfoy, who is mean; Crabbe and Goyle, Malfoy’s minions; Hagrid, the gamekeeper; and Ron and Hermione, Harry’s best friends. Voldemort is the bad guy, but my two favorite characters are Fred and George Weasley. What I like about them is that they know all of the secret passages, and they are the twins, class clowns, and the inseparable pair. Of all the other books in the series that I have read so far, this one is the best.

I think I will give this book five paws. This is one of the best books I have ever read.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days

The main character is Gregory and he tells about the time of his school and summer. Gregory has a little brother, Manny, that blames him for everything and a big brother, Rodrick, that is always mean to him. Gregory’s mom and dad are always either grounding him or trying to make Rodrick and Gregory get along.

I liked this book because Greg and his best friend Rowly hang out a lot. Sometimes they goof off and do crazy things. Like one time when they rode a bike down an icy hill then Rowly broke his arm when he hit and ice patch then slid into something and broke his arm. That is why I like Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

I give this book five paws.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair

The Silver Chair is about two kids who stay at a school and wanted to escape so they tried to go to Narnia because and they made it.The book is mainly about the three characters that are going on the adventure. To find King Caspian’s son Prince Rillian, who had been taken many years ago by an evil serpent witch.
I really liked this book because it was very exciting. One example was when the witch turned to a serpent after trying to hypnotize them to think there was no sun or Narnia or no Aslan (the creator of Narnia).I also liked it because it was very different from any other books. It is the only book I have read that has giants, talking animals, and magical creatures, and bird monsters all together in one place.
I would recommend this book to anyone who was interested in England, magical creatures and exciting , adventurous books that use swords, shields bows and lots of magic people, things, and secrets in Narnia. I would also give this book 5 paws.

Island of the Blue Dolphins

Karana is a Native American girl who lives with her little brother Ramo, big sister Ulape, and father (also the chief) Chowig on an island called Ghalas-at. Then, Karana’s father was killed when a group of Aleuts (European settling group) came to the island. After that a ship came to take them to another island to safety. Then Karana saw Ramo was on the shore with his fishing spear. Karana jumped out to sea to try to save him. When she got to shore, Karana found a pack of wild dogs had killed Ramo.
I really enjoyed this book because Karana may have been stuck on the island, but she never gave up taking care of herself. She was brave, confident, courageous, and enthusiastic. For example, when she shot Rontu, she may not have taken care of herself, but she took care of an animal that could have killed her.
I would recommend this book to anyone because I think that anyone would love it. It’s intense, it’s exciting, and it’s astoundingly amazing. I give this book 5 paws.

Stone Fox

What well you do if your grandfather was about to lose ever thing he owns? This book is about a boy that tries to help his grandfather pay the taxes he did not pay and save their farm. If they don’t pay they will lose their farm so the boy and his dog enter a race if they win they get five hundred dollars. They have to win and get the five hundred dollars to pay the taxes and save the farm.
I think this book is the best book I ever read because it has a lot of action and sadness. An example of action is they flow throw the race. An example of sadness is the dog dies during the race and it’s the first book I read of John Reynolds (author).
I recommend this book to people that love action and sadness. I loved this book I give it FIVE paws.
